Desiccated coconut

 

   Desiccated coconut is made from superior, fresh and sticks coconuts through drying with specific processes. It can be used as processed material to enrich the flavor such as filing the cake, mooncake and bread or to decorate the food’s surface such as being sprinkled on Tanghulu’s (sugar coated haws on a stick) or bread. It contains many nutrients such as sugar, fat, protein, vitamin B family, vitamin C and trace elements including potassium and magnesium.
